8 weeks post op

Today is eight weeks post op.
The old saying everything happens for a reason. There's truth to that. Even though when we are at our worst, feeling hopeless and lost- everything happens for a reason.
I'm not sure I can accept my pregnancy losses as something that should have happened but I can accept this.

I accept that even though I hoped for another chance during those long 6 years God knew I couldn't emotionally take another loss and spared me.
I accept that my first surgery in 2014 wasn't successful for the simple fact that I wasn't ready to just yet to give up hope and accept my life without having a child.
I accept that during those 2 years I learned more about myself and became more dedicated to creating a life of happiness which allowed me enough time to accept that my health had to be a priority.
I accept that my life has changed and I'm okay with that.

I've started a new chapter in my life- I'm a mom mom to 3 wonderful children whom I love dearly.
I'm a wonderful and loving wife to a man that would give me the world if he could and always puts me first above everything else because he loves me so.
I'm a daughter that cherishes all the time she gets to spend with her parents as time is so precious.
I'm a sister, aunt, niece, cousin and granddaughter that knows what the true meaning of family and the importance of family time and traditions.

So while my HORMONES may think that depriving me of sleep, sending me sudden flashes of heat and adding on a few pounds after I worked my ass off to lose a ton of weight will make me fall to my knees.. Ya better think again! Have you read what I've dealt with??
